My mother in law's spice box
Apart from finely chopped fresh ginger, chilli and garlic,
these are the spices my mother in law uses in most of her Indian cooking:
Turmric, garamasala, cumin, ground ginger, salt and pepper.

Golborne Road, Portobello
Golborne Road just off Portobello is my absolute favourite street in London.
It's the part of Portobello Market that the tourists don't know about, and on a sunny Friday morning nothing can beat it for buzz, inspiration and second hand bargains.
