There is always something inspirational to see or/and taste in the weekly, local farmers market. Today, unsurprisingly, I was irresistibly drawn to this: Vanilla and chocolate cupcakes and cheesecake brownies. London farmer's markets

This is the 'Oslo Jean'. From cult british denim label  Made In Heaven, MIH. £140 and apparently leg lengthening and very comfortable. I wish I was skinny enough to wear them!

My mother in law's spice box

Apart from finely chopped fresh ginger, chilli and garlic, 

these are the spices my mother in law uses in most of her Indian cooking: 

Turmric, garamasala, cumin, ground ginger, salt and pepper.

Golborne Road, Portobello

Golborne Road just off Portobello is my absolute favourite street in London.
It's the part of Portobello Market that the tourists don't know about, and on a sunny Friday morning nothing can beat it for buzz, inspiration and second hand bargains.
Plenty more post from this road to come in the future, no doubt.
